23.02. An employee with 1 year or less of continuous service with an employr may be absent from work for 2 days, without reduction of wages, by reason of the death or funeral of his consort, of his child or the child of his consort, or of his father, mother, brother or sister. He may also be absent from work, without wages, for 3 additional days on such occasion.
An employee with more than 1 year of continuous service with an employer may be absent from work for 3 days, without a reduction in wages, by reason of the death or funeral of his spouse, child or child of his spouse, or his father or mother. He may also be absent from work for 2 additional days on that occasion without wages.
